OUR STORY:

A Legacy of Telecom Savings

Founded in 1998 at the dawn of the internet boom, Anilix began as a software-focused telecom expense management company. Our first product was developed for wholesale telecom purchasers like AT&T and Covad Communications (our beta client).

As the telecom landscape evolved in the early 2000s, we transitioned to a services-driven model. Since 2006, Anilix has operated on a contingency fee basis, only collecting revenue from the real telecom savings we generate for customers.

Over the past 15+ years, our elite team of auditors has saved clients hundreds of millions. We've conducted audits across Fortune 500 companies and leading organizations in sectors like:
  • Professional Services

  • Financial Services

  • Healthcare

  • Manufacturing

  • Technology

  • Non-Profit

No company is too big or small for Anilix to optimize. Our combination of deep telecom expertise and business acumen delivers maximum savings.

As telecom has grown more complex, Anilix has never lost sight of our mission - help organizations cut every possible dollar from their voice, data, and wireless budgets. With decades of combined experience, we've seen it all. Put our expertise to work for you and tap into serious telecom savings.

Contact Anilix today and become part of our legacy delivering substantial ROI to customers. Our story is still being written.

Rick Friedman
CEO and Co-Founder

Rick has been the driving force behind Anilix’s nearly 20 years of exceptional service to our customers. He takes active roles in sales, marketing, and business development, with particular focus on partnerships and key customer relationships. Rick continues to drive the Anilix vision and strategic direction.

Prior to co-founding Anilix, Rick served as a Partner of Financial Strategies Group (FSG), a management consulting firm that provides economic and quantitative analytic advice to global corporations in the communications and high-technology industries. Rick held responsibility for all aspects of sales, project management, and product development relating to these markets. His efforts were the driving force behind quadrupling the size of the company over a four-year period.

Prior to joining FSG, Rick worked in the Financial Advisory Services Practice of Coopers & Lybrand's (now PwC), providing corporate finance and strategic advice to companies within the communications and technology sectors.

Rick graduated with honors from Cornell University with a BA and holds an MBA from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Rick is an avid skier, mountain biker, and frustrated athlete. Rick spends his free time with his three daughters and rooting for the previously hopeless and soon-to-be dominant Baltimore Orioles during the baseball season.

Prior to joining Rick at Anilix, Jeff was President and/or CEO of Down to Earth Designs, a maker of compostable, flushable diapers, Healthnotes, a dietary supplement software company, Wellmed, a wellness software company and Canyon Peak, a personalized brand of supplements and skincare.  Prior to that, Jeff worked at Johnson & Johnson for 17 years on consumer health products in marketing, manufacturing, materials management and business development.

These experiences give Jeff a strong background across a variety of functions, industries and company sizes and helped develop the strong analytical skills needed in sorting out the complex telecom industry.

Jeff graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Chemical Engineering and holds an MBA from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate School.  Jeff lives in Portland OR, but is a huge Cubs fan and thankful for internet connections that let him watch the games wherever he is.
